‘Serial killer cannibal’ arrested after ‘hacking 38 people to death before eating them in 15-year reign of terror’
A SUSPECTED killer cannibal has been arrested after allegedly butchering 38 people and eating them across a 15-year reign of terror.
Mujurizi Moses has been accused of breaking into family homes and hacking everyone inside to death before consuming their remains.

The shocking number of grim murders all stem from between 2010 to 2025 across the Masaka, Ibanda and Kazo districts of Uganda, according to police.
If Moses is found guilty of all the killings then he would be Uganda’s worst ever serial killer and face the death penalty, cops say.
Uganda’s Chief of Defence Forces, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba announced: “I am glad to inform our fellow citizens that the security forces have arrested the evil Mujurizi Moses.”
The police chief described him as “the worst serial killer and cannibal in Uganda’s history”.
Kainerugaba alleged: “He killed and ate 38 people between 2010 and 2025 in Masaka, Ibanda and Kazo.
“We will try him in public and definitely execute him.”
Sick accomplices allegedly helped Moses break into people’s homes and attack those inside with a machete.
In one alleged slaying, the twisted gang drilled a hole into the home of a Pentecostal pastor Steven Mugambe before murdering his entire family.
Other victims were allegedly lured in by Moses through sham relationships before being killed and eaten in a suspected “ritual murder”, said investigators.
Moses has been arrested several times before but reportedly managed to escape or was released by authorities under disputed reasons.
His latest arrest comes after distressed relatives of an alleged murder victim came forward to police.
Cops have raided the suspect’s home and recovered physical evidence of the heinous crimes, according to NDTV.
A trial will establish whether Moses is guilty of the alleged cannibal murder spree.
Investigators will also comb through cold case homicides and missing person reports to find possible links to the alleged series of killings.
It comes after another suspected serial killer broke free from Gigiri Police Station in Kenya.
Collins Jumaisi reportedly confessed to killing 42 women between 2022 and 2024 and concealing their remains in sacks.
He was arrested following the recovery of evidence from one victim’s mobile phone.
