‘They’re calling me crazy’ – Ireland AM star Muireann O’Connell sparks major debate with fans after her shock discovery

IRELAND AM star Muireann O’Connell has left her fans majorly divided after sharing her shock discovery.
The Virgin Media host has been struggling with the heat in Ireland and asked her Instagram followers if they had any tips as her usual Mitchum deodorant wasn’t cutting it.

And many people told her to “put deodorant on at night”, which had her very “confused”.
Muireann shared her shock saying: “What? Are people not putting on deodorant at night?
“Is that not one of the first things we learned when puberty threw up on us when we were young children, ‘Put on your deodorant at night. Don’t be sweating up your sheets. Get that stink under control and in the morning and whenever else you need it’.
“Because it feels like people are living a completely different world to me and they’re calling me crazy for being like, ‘Yeah, I put on my deodorant at night’.”
The Limerick native acknowledged that while some people “can’t use” certain deodorants, she wanted to know what everyone else was doing at night.
But while Muireann felt it was the norm to spray your pits before bedtime, the phenomenon has sparked some debate in her comment section.
Fiona wrote: “Always put deodorant on after a shower, and always shower before bed.”
Roch commented: “I can’t even comprehend NOT putting it on.”
Tina said: “Nope. Shower in the evening & in the morning. No deodorant at night. Let your skin breathe.”
Pamela added: “I never learned that. I never put it on at night… only the morning.”
