Mum, 38, and daughter, 5, found dead on pavement outside apartment building in suspected murder-suicide
A MUM and her daughter have been found dead outside a high-rise block of flats in a suspected murder-suicide.
The 38-year-old woman and her five-year-old child were discovered unresponsive on the pavement outside the Melbourne building.

The mum, who worked in real estate, had asked for the keys to the apartment block to show a property to one of her clients.
CCTV footage captured her entering the building with her daughter an hour later.
Resident Harry Wang rushed to help after finding them outside, telling 9News: “We tried to save her.”
A Victoria Police spokesperson said: “The woman and primary school-aged child could not be revived and sadly died at the scene.”
“At this early stage, police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.”
The area was cordoned off for emergency crews and detectives, while residents were prevented from leaving the building.
Horrified neighbours told 9News they were shocked and saddened by the incident.
One said: “We are sad, in our group, we say we pray for them.”

Another said: “I can’t believe this happened.”
The mum and daughter were both from an area called Blackburn South, around 10 minutes from the scene in Box Hill.
It comes as a toddler and his grandparents were found dead in a suspected murder-suicide in Ohio.
Dispatchers had received a chilling emergency call in the early hours of Wednesday morning, with the caller whispering “help”.
After a string of calls at around 4am, they were able to locate the property and police rushed to the scene.
A family member let them inside the house, where officers found the three bodies.
They found a gun beside one of the bodies, although it was not initially clear whose or what sparked the violence.
Sheriff Orvis Campbell said: “It’s definitely leaning towards a murder-suicide. We’re pretty confident.”
The victims were identified as Melissa E. Campbell, 51, Gale F. Sanders, 67, and 22-month-old Kozzar J. Lotut.
The grandparents reportedly played an important role in supporting Kozzar, who had medical disabilities.
