Donald Trump delivers X-rated description of ‘unbelievable people in Ireland’ during trip speech & hails success in US
DONALD Trump heaped praise on the “unbelievable people in Ireland” before jokingly branding them “vicious b*****ds”.
The US President spoke of his fondness for the Emerald Isle hours after touching down for his 48-hour visit on Saturday.

But the veteran real estate tycoon, 80, also noted that the people of Ireland had “a viciousness and a toughness” that he clearly appreciated.
Speaking at the US Ambassador’s Residence in Dublin, Trump declared: “People love coming to Ireland because they love you, they love the people.
“There’s a friendliness, there’s also a viciousness and a toughness.
“Let me tell you. You’re some of the most vicious b*****ds I’ve ever done business with.

“But when you want to be nice, there’s nobody nicer. And I just want to thank you. It’s an honour to be here.”
While speaking fondly about his Irish hosts, Trump continued: “In every part of American life, we find Irish Americans who embody the best of our country and point us toward excellence and great success.
“And nobody has had, I would say, as a group, more success than people from Ireland.”
The Commander-in-chief also had warm words for his ambassador to Ireland, Edward Walsh, who he referred to as “Walshy”.
Trump told his audience: “And by the way, a friend of mine, who I just see here, is your Ambassador to Ireland.
“His— his name is Walshy. We call him Walshy. His name is Walsh, but we—and he’s a great golfer, and I would think that that’s got to be the greatest Ambassadorship in history.
“You’re a golfer. He loves golf. He’s really good at it. And he’s the Ambassador to Ireland.
“You can’t do better than that, right? You can’t do better than that.
“But all—came all the way from the Washington, DC, area, Irish Americans have left an incredible mark on American history, and they’re fighters and thinkers and doers and winners.
“And for 250 years—and that’s what we have now.”
